Cross Border Media

In December of 2007, Cross Border Media launched it's flagship website with a simple goal: Create a one-stop resource where Canadian cross border shoppers could find all the tips, tools and information they needed to save money and optimize their U.S. shopping trips.

 

While the initial version of CrossBorderShopping.ca wasn't pretty (in fact it was down right ugly), it was functional and packed with helpful information for cross border shoppers, which led to steady traffic and subscriber growth (and a much nicer looking website!). 

 

Over the years, our little cross border shopping website turned into a big website, with over 100,000 monthly visitors, 55,000 email subscribers and a large roster of clients that includes U.S. destinations, malls, retailers, duty free shops, hotels and service providers that appeal to Canadian cross border shoppers and travellers.

 

As our website grew, so did our mandate: To provide Canadian travellers, tourists and shoppers in a variety of niches with the best tips, tools and information available, while also helping businesses offering relevant products and services reach those audiences.  

 

In keeping with this wider mandate, in 2015 we launched our Cross Border PR & Marketing Consulting division, allowing us to share the cross border travel and tourism expertise we have accumulated over trhe years with U.S. Destinations and Attractions,helping them reach a wider audience of Canadian cross border travellers through multi-channel campaigns.

 

In 2016, we launched our newest website, SnowbirdAdvisor.ca, a one-stop resource where Canadian snowbirds can find all the tips, tools, information and services they need, covering topics like insurance, travel, finances, banking, real estate, accommodations, taxes, products, services and everything in between!
